This year, on Tuesday 2nd June 2020, join us for Australia's first Thank a First Responder Day.   Make a video, draw a picture, write a message of thanks and post it on your social channels.  Let's show our gratitude and publicly recognise the work of our first responders - paid and volunteer, frontline and support staff - let's thank them for protecting, defending and caring for our communities.

We are grateful for the work our first responders do every single day to keep our communities safe.
2020 has been a year like no other with natural disasters and pandemics on top of every day house fires, car crashes and emergencies.

On Tuesday, 2nd June, tell them how much we appreciate them. Post a message on your social media accounts using the hashtags #TAFRD #ThankaFirstResponder and show our First Responders how much we value what they do.
(For Facebook posts  tag @FortemAustralia )

Messages posted on public Instagram and Twitter accounts will appear on the Wall of Thanks.
Take the time to read the messages of appreciation, after all, #kindness and #gratitude is good for mental health!
