THANK A FIRST RESPONDER DAY
After watching 17 million hectares of Australia burn in recent bushfires, quickly followed by cyclones, floods, wild storms and COVID-19, we wanted to recognise the work our First Responders do to protect, defend and care for our communities every single day.
Australia's more than 300,000 First Responders put much of their lives on hold to respond to the community whenever we need them. They leave their home and family behind to protect their community and their neighbours.
We wanted to create a platform that would allow the community to be able to express appreciation easily, and for First Responders and their families to be able to read the messages of appreciation that come their way.
A COLLABORATIVE EFFORT
Thank a First Responder Day wouldn't be possible without the collaborative efforts of first responder and emergency response organisations around Australia who have come together to make this day possible.
